Here’s my attempt to make it to Etsy’s highly coveted front page as a curator. They’re asking the community to create “Get Found” themed treasuries in honor of the Etsy Success Symposium happening tomorrow, Friday, March 30th. You can read more about that jazz here. Click the photo to see my full treasury, which has yet to “get found” by the Etsy FP gods.

I’ve always wanted a ton of these antique blue bell jars. I’ve tripled my collection since last summer, and can’t wait to have them all filled with fresh cut blooms in the near future. We have a pick-your-own flower field about a half and hour north of us in Rhienbeck, NY, which is amazing. I took my daughter there for the first time last summer. Ten bucks gets you enough flowers to fill a funeral parlor. (Twelve bucks and you get to keep the plastic bucket!) Can you say “cockscomb?”

For believe me! — the secret for harvesting from existence the greatest fruitfulness and the greatest enjoyment is: to live dangerously! Build your cities on the slopes of Vesuvius! Send your ships into uncharted seas! Live at war with your peers and yourselves! Be robbers and conquerors as long as you cannot be rulers and possessors, you seekers of knowledge! Soon the age will be past when you could be content to live hidden in forests like shy deer! At long last the search for knowledge will reach out for its due: — it will want to rule and possess, and you with it!
